Paulmara Estates Sangiovese Rose 2023"This winery was established by Paul and Mara Georgiadis at Marananga in 1999. Winemaker is the accomplished Jason Barrette. The colour is an attractive medium salmon pink; theres a note of toasted almond in the bouquet and its very savoury, the palate flavours likewise, intense and dry, bright and refreshing, with deep and lasting flavour and perhaps a nutty suggestion of barrel involvement. A very smart ros: I would line up for a second glass.
