1938 BSA Gold Star JM24. 500cc OHVThis rare 1938 Gold Star has been off the road since the late 1950s early 1960s. Confirmed matching numbers. The piston was nipping when it got hot and the owner dismantled the bike. It stayed like this ever since. The cylinder and cylinder head was refurbished, vapour blasted and a new liner fitted in the 2010s but the owner never got around to putting the bike back together again.
